Location: Green Bay, WI Shift: 1st Shift Work model: Hybrid Schedule: FULLTIME; Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Job overview: Schneider is seeking a Senior Purchasing Manager in Green Bay to oversee the organization's purchasing, procurement and contracting processes. The Senior Purchasing Manager will also lead a team of purchasing associates and develop strong relationships between Schneider and its vendors. Responsibilities: Provide leadership to direct reports and foster a high-performing work environment. Provide insight to the executive team regarding purchasing strategies and supplier relationships to help with key business decisions. Work with senior leadership to implement purchasing, supplier and contract controls across the organization. Establish and maintain technology supplier relationships and negotiate favorable solutions. Implement strategies, processes and procedures for procurement standards. Identify cost-savings opportunities for various business sectors. Lead complex and high-value contracts, purchases and services to achieve the best value for the organization. Create and adhere to annual budgets. Skills and qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting or finance. A minimum of 5 years of professional work experience. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Excellent leadership skills. Experience with negotiating. Understanding of software licensing principles and supplier programs.
