The System Sr. Sales Manager (SSM) is responsible for the sales of DME and Medical Surgical supplies and services across the service area of MedCare Equipment Company. The System Sr. Sales Manager delivers revenue growth for assigned geography/accounts by creating new business opportunities, expanding the existing sales pipeline, as well as retaining and growing existing accounts. The SSM is responsible for delivering revenue growth through new business opportunity assessments, intelligence gathering, strategic planning and plan execution. The SSM represents the company in the business community, cultivating relationships to attract business opportunities to the organization and fostering strategic partnerships. Job Duties / Essential Functions: •Lead analysis across markets and portfolio to determine potential growth opportunities. •Perform analysis of market positioning and operations of new business opportunity targets. •Maintain relationships between the organization and existing owners, customers, and health plans. •Develop new sources of business through direct dialogue with industry leaders and leveraging networks. •Establish and maintain productive working relationships with people inside and outside the organization including UPMC Health Plan, leadership at our owner facilities, MEC staff, industry associations, regulatory forums, and other market relevant groups. •Identify clients' needs and ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions to meet customer needs and objectives. •Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships; develop trusted advisory relationships with key accounts to retain current clients. •Develop sales targets and KPIs to meet the annual budget growth targets. •Negotiate and close transactions, close contracts with new clients. •Utilize Brightree for sales/customer documentation. •Initiate, lead and participate in LEAN continuous improvement initiatives to better meet our customers' and business needs •Achieve individual sales and marketing goals and targets in addition to ensuring the goals of the sales team are achieved. •Demonstrate and expertise and knowledge of market analysis, competitive analysis and understanding of the local market. •Supervise, train, mentor, monitor sales team and support staff to achieve performance goals. •All other duties as assigned. Requirements Skills / Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree required. •Strategy, KPIs and marketing program development required •Min 5 years sales experience with proven results and progressive experience in key account management required •Coaching and mentoring of Sales Representatives required. •Previous customer service experience required Physical Requirements / Working Conditions: These are physical and mental requirements of the position as it is typically performed.
