About the job The Life Sciences Sales Division is looking for a Global Account Manager who will be focused on supporting and growing SAS' footprint with Merck. As a Global Account Manager for Merck, you will: Identify and seize sales opportunities to build lasting partnerships with Merck. Dive deep into Merck's business needs and qualify the most important opportunities. Lead the charge on account strategy and work closely with SAS Executives. Mastermind contracts with cross-functional teams to seal the deal. Team up with global AEs to unlock new business across the world! Ensure all applicable security policies and processes are followed to support the organization's secure software development goals. Required Qualifications 8+ years of enterprise sales experience. 4+ years of selling into the Life Sciences industry. Proven track record of building a thriving business through consulting and development. Skilled at managing global Life Sciences accounts. Actively engaged with Merck on-site to build rapport and solve complex business problems. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Science, or a related field. You're curious, passionate, authentic and accountable. These are our values and influence everything we do. Preferred Qualifications Expert in Life Sciences, skilled at evaluating territories and creating winning sales plans. Knowledgeable in analytics/software acquisition cycles and key buying influences. Fluent in Merck's industry, tech, and challenges. Strong communicator, both written and verbal. Proven ability to lead, delegate, and drive projects to success. Skilled at connecting Merck's technical and business needs with SAS solutions. Experienced working with multiple divisions and execs at Merck. The base salary range for this position is$135,688 USD - $165,840 USD per year and is a good faith estimate only. The range does not include any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. Actual pay will vary depending on factors including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay is just one component of SAS's total compensation package for employees.Employees may also be eligible for commission or discretionary bonus (based on company and individual performance) as determined by the role.
