Job Title SEAR Logistic Support Opportunity CBP Job Type Full-time Location Summit Point, WV 25446 US (Primary) Category Analyst Career Level Open Education Bachelors Degree w/24 hours Business Credit Travel Security Clearance Required TS/SCI Job Description The contractor shall perform all USC 124n related functions for a DHS SEAR event that are not inherent or required to be completed by a law enforcement officer (LEO). The functions to be performed by the contractor are as follows: Perform preplanning and site survey of deployment area, to include a report that contains recommendations for deployment sites, geospatial survey results, intelligence on the area, known actors, etc. Spectrum testing and report on how spectrum analysis will affect the equipment to be deployed to said area, and recommendations to mitigate those risks. Spectrum analysis: An event of tests performed with a spectrum analyzer to measure frequencies or related quantities such as energies, eigenvalues, etc. in the specific area/airspace that we want to deploy CUAS training, testing and or CUAS operations. Inventory all equipment and supplies received, shipped-back and consumed or broken during the event. The government will provide an itemized list of equipment with known readiness condition. The contractor must provide a list of equipment damaged, missing and/or consumed while under their control. Pick up and transport CUAS systems and support equipment from local office to installation location (s), and after the event transport equipment back to local office for processing. Equipment must arrive at the event site within the 8-hour receiving window provided by the government. Upon arrival, contractor is to report to the on-site Border Patrol representative. Clearly delineate transportation and handling costs that are included and those that are not included in the support service. Set up and install equipment to include equipment placed, connected, and local network tested by vendor per site. All equipment must be set up, tested, and operational with 24 hours of arrival on site. Perform Pre-Event System Testing to include data-link testing, network monitoring, troubleshooting, basic detection system testing and documentation of testing. Job Requirements The employed government contractor shall have a high-level of experience and knowledge in domestic C-UAS deployments, as well as the laws, practices, procedures, and policies associated with The Preventing and Emerging Threats Act of 2018, and subsection 6 USC 124n. OR vast previous experience in a similar field such as DOD Electronic Warfare or Communications background. The contractor shall have a valid Background Investigation (BI) to comply with CBP Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR) standards. Preference given to those with a TS/SCI clearance and if not, willing to pursue obtaining one. The contractor performing CUAS drone tests must have a FAA Small UAS Remote Pilot Certificate that is required under the FAA Small UAS Rule (Part 107) to operate a drone.
