Position: Mechanical Engineer Location: Cincinnati, OH Job Id: 1886 # of Openings: 1 Mechanical Engineer Location Cincinnati, OH Job Summary This exciting and challenging opportunity is available for a mid-level engineering candidate. This position includes the opportunity to be involved with a variety of projects in the industrial, municipal, healthcare, commercial, K12, and higher education markets. The candidate will perform multiple aspects of engineering assignments including HVAC and Plumbing system design calculations and development of construction drawings and specifications. Primary Functions Perform HVAC and plumbing design tasks under the direction of Senior Project Mechanical Engineers. Use Revit and AutoCAD software to design HVAC / Plumbing systems. Coordinate mechanical designs with co-workers in the architecture, electrical, and structural departments. Prepare contract documents including drawings and specifications. Organize and maintain drawings and project files. Perform project field investigations in support of renovation projects. Perform project construction phase engineering duties. Minimum Physical Requirements Will have normal office working conditions and be required to use a computer. Must be capable of traveling to and maneuver around project sites for attending client and project meetings, and be able to access project sites for observation, investigation, and evaluation. Must be able to use various technical equipment for communication and documentation. Visual acuity necessary to perform responsibilities. Occasionally exposed to light lifting, sitting, and walking. Desired Education Bachelor's of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from ABET accredited program. Desired Experience/Qualifications AE consulting business experience. PE license or working towards one. AutoCAD and Revit mechanical software experience. Microsoft Office software experience. Possess strong communication skills. Self-motivated.
