Amentum is currently seeking qualified Sr. Financial Analyst to support a NAVSEA Contract and be a member of the Readiness and Logistics Group. The Readiness & Logistics Group is the Navy's technical authority for maritime readiness and logistics, including, but not limited to developing, executing, monitoring, improving and providing training on policy and process associated with implementing the 12 Integrated Product Support Elements across the NAVSEA enterprise. *Contingent on Contract Award ** JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Sr. Financial Analyst will provide support in the following areas: Responsible for the preparation, coordination, and documentation of more complex financial analysis projects such as financial and expense performance, rate of return, depreciation, working capital, and investments. Provides analysis for forward-looking financial and business-related projects. Prepares forecasts and analysis of trends in manufacturing, sales, finance, general business conditions, and other related areas. Identifies trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to senior management. Additionally, may conduct special financial and business-related studies and cooperates with other departments in the preparation of analyses. Creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately. Performs financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts. REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: 7 years of experience and bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or in the field/related area. Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision. Must be able to work on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge. Must have an Active SECRET US Government Clearance.
