It''s an exciting time to be in Technology, especially Card Tech, as we transform the way we do business and deliver effortless digital experiences to our customers.The Chief of Staff office drives horizontal key initiatives that support ~3000 associates across multiple geographies and multiple business domains. This position will focus on the horizontal workforce strategy for all of Card Technology. Responsibilities:Encourage a culture of creating people solutions within Card TechBuild a bridge between two data repositories to help drive workforce strategy Analyze domain-level hiring trends, and craft appropriate solutionsPartner with labor leads to create internal dashboards to report real-time workforce trends and analysisIdentify any outstanding communication gaps, and assemble appropriate resourcesCreate, enhance, and optimize data visualizations in Tableau using data from a variety of sources and creating custom SQL queriesAssemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements.Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability.Develop and enhance applications using a modern technology stack such as Python, Shell Scripting, Scala, Postgres, Angular JS, React, and Nifi Here''s what we believe will help you be successful in this role:Genuinely care about our associates and their successExceptional communication skillsCollaborative, team player attitude with ability to navigate and influence across levels internally and external to our organizationTrack record of defining strategy, creating advocacy/alignment and being accountable for outcomesBlend of strategic and tactical thinking to balance overall objectives and priorities with needs and logisticsSolid project and program management skillsRegularly and systematically use data to uncover opportunities, track performance, and drive decision makingEntrepreneurial ability to identify and prioritize opportunities in ambiguous contextsManage workload of multiple projects and meet deadlines with minimal direction and supervision Capital One is open to hiring a Remote Employee for this opportunity.
