Job Title: Regional Director of Security Salary: $125,000 - $135,000 / year Minimum of five (5) years of crowd management and guest services experience at a sports/entertainment venue, with an emphasis in business management. Job Summary The strategic Senior Director of Operation is to lead and optimize our organization's operation efficiency in their assigned region. The ideal individual will have a proven track record in managing large-scale event operations, implementing process improvements, and driving cross-functional collaboration. The Senior Director of Operations will be a hands-on Senior Leader who can provide counsel to the Vice President of Operations, manage multiple projects and customers, mentor account managers, and implement new methods of making BEST Crowd Management world-class in the Event Management and Security Services industry. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Serve as the primary connection for company management on staffing and event management in the assigned region. Provide organization-wide leadership in a manner that supports BEST's values of Integrity, Trust, Vigilance, and Respect. Ensures alignment of BEST policies across all locations in the assigned region. Exercise a high degree of initiative, judgement, and discretion. Strategically plan and lead through ambiguity (e.g. set objectives and goals, anticipate, and adjust for unexpected change, evaluate results, etc.) Accountable for assigned regions' financial goals and metrics, including talent acquisition, revenue, gross margin, and staff utilization. Responsible for overseeing client onboarding in the assigned region. Continuously evaluate our key client relationships to ensure alignment with the ever-changing needs of the organization. Manage all customer escalations in the assigned region. Develop and execute comprehensive operational strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives. Lead and mentor a team of Regional Operations Managers, ensuring a cohesive and high performing operations team and enhancing the culture around security for BEST, our clients, including people, assets, reputation, and business. Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and license standards. Drive operational excellence through the development and implementation of streamlined processes and systems. Collaborate with Finance, Human Resources, and Talent Acquisition departments to align operational practices with overall business objectives. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation for assigned region, ensuring fiscal responsibility. Meet key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly analyze operational metrics to identify areas for improvement. Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure uninterrupted business operations. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and efficiency within the national operations team. Collaborate with Senior Leadership to provide strategic insights and recommendations for business growth. Stays current with security concerns/trends at all professional sports arenas, including local and national security threats, and distributes information as necessary. Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to ensure that all venues meet or exceed appropriate staffing levels through individual hires and/or NPO groups. Ensure that all venue and client relationships and requirements are met by local leadership and above. Undertake additional duties or special projects as assigned by Senior Leadership, contributing to the overall success and adaptability of the organization in a dynamic environment. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business or Sports Management or related field. Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience. Understanding of Guest Services and Security Staffing for Large and Small Events. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Target Driven. In-depth knowledge of all aspects of facility management, encompassing crisis management, event sales and marketing, event operations, building engineering, security, and guest services. Strong ability to problem-solve and find new ways of creating value and increasing profitability. Willingness to learn and grow within BEST Crowd Management. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, inclusive of weekends, nights (event evenings & overnight operation shifts) and holidays. Physical and Mental Demands: While performing the duties of this job, it is required to frequently sit, stand, walk, talk, or hear. Required to stand or walk for extended periods (up to 10 hours). On occasion, may be required to climb and work in high places, stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The position may also require work in confined spaces and exposure to different types of outdoor weather conditions. Must occasionally lift, push, or pull up to 45 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
