Extreme Engineering Solutions (X-ES) seeks an experienced Technical Program Manager to help lead the creation and implementation of complex electro-mechanical and software technologies that will be utilized by our products. This individual will provide day-to-day leadership to successfully develop technologies that align with the strategic objectives of our company. Responsibilities for this role include driving state of the art technical solutions amongst cross-functional teams and suppliers, as well as driving actions through to completion with a sense of urgency.A strong technical background, the ability to identify pragmatic solutions for complex problems, communication, teamwork, and risk/opportunity-based critical thinking are key to success in this position. Duties and Responsibilities Overall ownership for technology development milestones and deliverables throughout the concept, design, development and early production phases. Working with suppliers/partners to develop solutions, overcome obstacles, and maintain schedules. Schedule creation, maintenance and communication. Leverage high-level objectives to define and maintain tasks for the development team. Primary point of contact during the concept, design, development, and early production phases of a technology development. Capable of independently understanding and challenging all aspects of what is happening within the development effort. Schedule, prepare, and run cross-functional meetings. Direct and organize cross-functional problem-solving initiatives. Create and maintain technology development goals and requirements. Understand and challenge complex engineering decisions and timelines. Identify and communicate program risks. Identify resource requirements to complete program tasks and potential resource limitations. Assist in the preparation of corporate business reviews for executive and senior leadership. Be a hands-on leader who achieves success through modeling best practices and a service attitude. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a strong background and experience in electrical, mechanical, or software engineering. Minimum of thirteen (13+) years of applicable professional experience in engineering for the design and development of complex technologies. Minimum of seven (7+) years of applicable professional experience in managing the development of complex technologies. Highly skilled in developing, driving, and maintaining complex technology development schedules. Experience working with suppliers to deeply understand their capabilities in order to direct their development efforts and ours. Highly self-motivated in order to drive projects forward, with strong organizational skills and ability to meet project deadlines. Ability to exercise a high degree of judgment, pragmatism, and creativity to accomplish goals. High level of written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work efficiently and independently. Ability to work onsite from our facility located at 9901 Silicon Prairie Parkway in Verona, WI. Desired Qualifications Master's degree in engineering field. Comfortable with customer interactions. Prior experience in a managerial or leadership role.
