The Electrical and Mechanical Assembler is responsible for the assembly and integration of electrical and mechanical components, ensuring the production of high-quality products. This position requires a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, precision in assembly work, and adherence to safety and quality standards. Responsibilities: Assembly of Electrical Components: Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings. Assemble electrical components, such as wiring harnesses, circuit boards, and electrical panels. Install and connect electrical wiring according to specifications. Mechanical Assembly: Assemble mechanical components, including but not limited to, gears, motors, and structural elements. Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for mechanical assembly. Integration of Electrical and Mechanical Systems: Integrate electrical and mechanical components into complete systems. Ensure proper alignment, fit, and functionality of assembled parts. Testing and Troubleshooting: Conduct functional tests on assembled products to ensure they meet quality standards. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues in both electrical and mechanical components. Quality Control: Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy. Document and report any defects or deviations from specifications. Collaboration: Work closely with engineering teams to understand assembly requirements. Collaborate with colleagues to address and resolve assembly challenges. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines related to electrical and mechanical assembly. Report any safety concerns or incidents promptly. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of assembly processes and test results. Complete required paperwork related to assembly activities. Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Technical or vocational training in electrical or mechanical assembly is a plus. Experience: Proven experience in electrical and mechanical assembly. Familiarity with electrical and mechanical testing equipment. Skills: Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and mechanical drawings. Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems. Precision and attention to detail in assembly work. Ability to use a variety of hand tools and power tools. Communication: Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues. Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new assembly processes and technologies.
