Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our finance team. The Financial Analyst will play a key role in supporting financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities, providing valuable insights to inform strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess strong quantitative skills, financial acumen, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments. Key Responsibilities: Financial Planning and Analysis: Assist in the development of financial forecasts, budgets, and long-range plans, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company goals. Variance Analysis: Analyze financial results and key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying variances and trends, and providing explanations and recommendations to management. Financial Modeling: Build and maintain financial models to support decision-making, scenario analysis, and strategic initiatives. Management Reporting: Prepare and distribute regular financial reports and dashboards to management and key stakeholders, highlighting key insights and areas of concern. Cost Analysis: Analyze costs and expenses across various business units and departments, identifying opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements. Investment Analysis: Evaluate investment opportunities and capital projects, conducting financial feasibility studies, ROI analysis, and risk assessments. Forecasting and Planning: Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial forecasts, collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather input and assumptions. Financial Performance Review: Participate in financial reviews and performance discussions with business unit leaders, providing analysis and recommendations to drive performance improvements. Ad Hoc Analysis: Support ad hoc analysis and special projects as requested by senior management, providing insights and recommendations to address specific business challenges. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, and identify and mitigate financial risks. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) preferred. years of experience in financial analysis or related roles, preferably in [industry/sector].
