Overview Infiltrator Water Technologies (IWT) is a market leader within the onsite wastewater treatment industry, Infiltrator manufactures a variety of revolutionary products and innovative, environmentally friendly alternatives to traditional stone and pipe leachfield and concrete septic wastewater system components. Infiltrator's recycling operation is among the country's top twenty producers / consumers of recycled resins and among only a few of whom consume 100% of that resin in the finished products produced. IWT has always and continues to compete on innovation; we hold over 200 patents. Responsibilities NOW HIRING a Facilities Engineer to join our team! ROLE OVERVIEW: The Facilities Engineer will be responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and equipment of Infiltrator buildings and facilities. This will include executing capital and continuous improvement projects. Excellent project management skills and strong knowledge of facility infrastructure and systems is required. This position will report to the Director of Manufacturing Operations. JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Management of large multi-faceted projects. Must have experience developing and managing project budgets, timelines, and scope. Must be effective in communication of project status and results. Develop project scope, costs, justification, and schedule for assigned projects. Prepare capital request documentation as required. Work with internal and external engineering resources, as well as equipment vendors to design and install new equipment and processes or reconfigure and upgrade existing equipment to suit the needs of the business. Prepare concept drawings for assigned projects and detailed drawings as required in 2D or 3D CAD. Manage contractors, as well as internal resources during project execution. Lead and participate in project startup including troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and process systems. Develop equipment and process design standards for assigned areas of operations. Apply Lean methods to project designs and automation to reduce waste and process variation. QUALIFICATIONS: BS degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering. 10+ years of relevant experience. Knowledge of building process and construction principals with knowledge of relevant regulations and building codes. Knowledgeable on building mechanical, water, electrical, and pneumatic systems. Must have experience managing equipment installation, preferably injection molding equipment. Experience with AutoCAD, SAP, and MS Office.
