Financial Analyst

JOB DESCRIPTION Financial Analyst is responsible for assisting the Plant Controller in performing a variety of accounting functions related to financial analysis, cost accounting functions, month end financial closing and financial reporting. The Financial Analyst is Responsible for processing Payroll Reconciling Temp payments and invoices Monitor receivables and payables activity and address issues as necessary Assist the Controller with plant financial activities including GL accounting and reconciliations Maintain internal controls processes and documentation related to Sarbanes Oxley compliance. Support internal and external audit activities Assists in month-end financial closings Participates in annual Physical Inventory and performs Physical Inventory reconciliations. Support and promote Continuous Improvement initiatives Perform additional related duties and analyses as directed by the Controller or Plant Manager Education/Experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with 1 year experience or Equivalent Additional Experience if no BA. Fluent in MS Office applications, advanced in MS Excel. Experience with SAP and Hyperion applications preferred. Experience with ADP is a plus. Familiarity with Internal Controls and Sarbanes Oxley requirements. Demonstrated ability to manage complex or ambiguous situations; ability to work under deadlines. Ability to analyze complex data and communicate findings by verbal or presentation format. PRIMARY LOCATION Murfreesboro Facility
