Dinsmore is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to join our team at our Pittsburgh, PA location. This dual-role position combines the responsibilities of a Commercial Title Insurance Processor with that of a Project Assistant, particularly focusing on supporting our commercial loan transactions, including SBA Loans. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with title examiners, underwriters, surveyors, attorneys, paralegals, lenders, and loan officers. You will acquire, analyze, and organize all necessary documents for processing commercial title insurance and loan transactions. Additionally, you will act as a Project Assistant, providing crucial support to multiple attorneys on various commercial finance transactions. Responsibilities Open new files and order title examinations, surveys, and other necessary documents Prepare title commitments, title reports, Proformas, title policies, and construction loan endorsements Accurately and promptly prepare title company closing documents, and SBA closing documents including closing statements Coordinate and conduct closings, ensuring all steps are completed efficiently. Disburse escrow funds via checks or wires as required Record real estate documents with county recorders Record UCC-1 Financing Statements Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries from all parties involved in commercial loan closings Build and maintain strong relationships with attorneys, paralegals, lenders, examiners, and closing officers Assist in the preparation for commercial finance closings and all required post-closing matters, including preparing closing binders, performing post-closing searches, and organizing, tracking, and maintaining various projects within the commercial real estate practice group Other duties as assigned Requirements A minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial title insurance and loan processing, including the preparation of commercial title insurance commitments and closing statements High school diploma required; secondary education is a plus Experience in commercial finance transactions, including the preparation of related loan and closing documents In-depth understanding of the commercial title insurance industry and commercial loan transactions Familiarity with commercial real estate documents and recording procedures Strong knowledge of real estate regulations, guidelines, and document preparation Proficiency in handling complex calculations for preparing closing statements. Proficiency with industry-specific software, such as SoftPro, Qualia, SMS, or RamQuest Proven ability to manage a demanding workload and multitask effectively while maintaining exceptional customer service Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and customer service skills Equal Opportunity Employer Other details Pay Type Hourly Apply Now
