As part of the Communications & Branding (C&B) Department, the senior writer is responsible for the development of consumer-facing content across all Outpatient Rehabilitation Division programs and services. This individual will work closely with market leadership to create compelling marketing pieces and website content that supports the largest network of physical therapy centers across the U.S. with the goal of effectively growing awareness among consumers about the best-in-class programs and services offered at the companys 1,900+ physical therapy centers in 38 states and the District of Columbia. This team member will also closely partner with the senior writer of referral content to ensure a well-rounded strategy to programs and services messaging. This position reports to the C&B director of outpatient content strategy and is located in Mechanicsburg, PA with a hybrid work schedule of M/F work-from-home and T/W/Th in office. Responsibilities: Writes and updates consumer collateral for all programs and services. Writes and updates content across 16 and growing outpatient brand websites. Writes patient success stories and blogs. Ensures consumer content relevancy and accuracy. Ensures consistent tone across all consumer content, regularly analyzes for messaging impact. Applies research and outcomes insights to develop compelling messaging. Monitors effectiveness of consumer collateral throughout lifecycle, i.e. content audits. Partners with C&B teammates on all aspects of consumer content review, production and distribution of consumer content. Edits social media and center-specific web page content. Adheres to company/department brand governance standards. Performs other duties or special projects, as assigned. Qualifications: Required: Minimum 8 years of writing experience. Exceptional writer with proven expertise in developing highly-compelling health care content. Strong verbal communication skills. Expert at multi-tasking; high degree of agility to simultaneously manage multiple, large projects. Proven track record in content creation and management across multiple brands and programs. Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize to meet deadlines. Results-driven mindset. Highly collaborative team player. Command of AP Style. Proficiency of Microsoft Office and project management tools Preferred: Writing test required.
