Overview The Marketing Coordinator is a key member of the Marketing team who will partner closely with marketing colleagues, sales, and external agencies to successfully execute HCP & Patient Engagement activities and events for external conferences, speaker programs, and ad boards. The primary responsibility for this role includes supporting the planning, logistics and execution of peer-to-peer educational programs and patient engagement opportunities (video and photo shoots, interviews, webinars, in person speaking events, etc.) that enable Xeris to actively engage with targeted audiences with respect to their current commercial products, and that the engagement translates into high quality leads for the business and influences clinical practice. This role requires high collaboration across the marketing team, sales, compliance, legal, medical, regulatory, and external vendors. Responsibilities Works collaboratively with Manager to organize all logistics for events, including but not limited to timelines, vendors, accommodation and transportation for participants, and communication with internal stakeholder. Coordinates pre-event logistics and operational details, and post-event reconciliation with internal and external stakeholders Partners with marketing and sales team to ensure flawless execution of all speakers' bureau Partners with marketing, sales, advocacy, and events team to ensure flawless execution of all patient engagement opportunities Monitors event activities to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and laws, satisfaction of participants, and resolution of any problems that arise Works with staff at the chosen event site to coordinate details, when applicable Support agency management by reviewing project timelines, plans, and budget Assists in developing event metrics/goals, including financial goals, tracks and monitors during event, and conducts post-event evaluations to determine success Supports the tracking and monitoring of materials through legal and regulatory review process and helps to ensure compliance with Xeris policies and procedures Support sales team with event logistics and training needs Support the development and management of Product Theaters, HCP-speaker events, ad boards, training activities, video development, and supplementary pieces Other projects and tasks as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business or other relevant field of study 1-2 years of marketing or sales experience, preferably in a regulated industry such as pharmaceuticals, healthcare, finance, or education Understanding of managing workflow through medical, regulatory, legal and compliance review processes and understanding of FDA regulations and guidance regarding advertising and promotion of prescription drug products Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with a great deal of autonomy Strong project management skills and highly detail oriented Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) Experience with Veeva preferred Delivers high impact and value in projects and initiatives Proven track record of taking initiative and operating in a proactive manner Thrives in ambiguity and can adapt quickly in any situation and asks questions to increase depth of understanding Competencies: Critical and Creative Thinker, Highly Motivated, Analytical Thinking, Problem Solving, Self-Starter, Professionalism, Interpersonal Skills, Teamwork/Collaboration, Negotiation Skills, Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills, Critical and Creative Thinker, Organizational Skills, Results Oriented, Adaptability, Attention to Detail Working Conditions Position may require periodic evening and weekend work, as necessary to fulfill Overnight travel up to 25% This is a hybrid role based in Xeris' Chicago office and requires a minimum of three days per week in the office.
