To enhance security, programming, and operations by managing the Restorative Housing program for the Agency. Directs the activities of designing, planning and implementation of all operational aspects of the Restorative Housing program, to include Secure Diversionary Treatment Program (SDTP), Shared Allied Management (SAM), and other related diversionary programs. This position ensures compliance with applicable procedures, ACA standards, and code sections Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license. Extensive working knowledge of corrections operations with an emphasis on restorative housing and diversionary housing programs. Knowledge of evidence-based practices. Ability to develop and maintain professional working relationships with internal and external partners. Advanced skill set for preparing publications, procedures, training materials, reports, graphs and presentations. Advanced skill at using Virginia CORIS (reports) Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point. Skill and ability in coaching and training staff. Additional Considerations Advanced knowledge in social sciences or criminal justice, or a related field. Knowledge and ability to develop and manage the strategic planning process to include collecting, analyzing and interpreting data related to performance measures. Knowledge and ability in program design and evaluation. Ability to manage priority and time for a wide range of projects often with competing demands. Ability to present program content to a variety of internal and external audiences. Experience facilitating inmate programs. Prior supervisory experience.
