Job Description Intermediate Project Manager will work with our team to support the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), Office of Administration, Facilities Management Division. The Intermediate Project Manager reports to the RiverTech Program Manager and On-Site Supervisor and provides information to stakeholders and management by analyzing data in USCIS database systems. Responsibilities Develop and edit project management documents including status reports and leverage different data systems for submission of requirements and reporting of project data. Create schedules and milestones for tracking and forecasting project statuses. Review security system scopes of work, drawings, and clearly convey requirements to other government entities, private building lessors, and or contractors. Develop ad hoc project management reports using Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft PowerPoint. Support the Senior Project Manager on FAC support services for USCIS -related projects and initiatives. Understand and support project management phases to include planning, execution and result monitoring. Assist with project budgetary projection development process. Support Project Change Control process to ensure specific product or service changes are introduced in a controlled and coordinated manner. Ability to create and compile external service provider work order and packages Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities Qualifications United States (U.S.) citizenship is required for this U.S. government program. Ability to obtain/maintain Secret clearance eligibility and favorable pre-employment USCIS Entry on Duty (EOD) and Suitability Determinations. Bachelor's degree in business management, related field or professional certification. Minimum three (3) years of work experience relevant to the duties and responsibilities of the position; relevant work experience may be considered as a substitute for degree requirements. Experience working with cross-functional teams to perform and complete task. High level of proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project, as well as SharePoint or other collaboration software. Demonstrated ability to produce detailed and independent written correspondence in order to communicate operational requirements. Experience with electronic security systems is preferred but not required. Previous project management experience and data analysis. Excellent customer service, oral and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to think logically and work effectively within group settings or independently with minimal supervision. Ability to receive general guidance and instructions from a supervisor or via established standard operating procedures, and act upon them with minimal supervision. Successful completion of pre-employment background investigation with results allowing for continued consideration for employment.
