You have experience in scaling operations in a fast-paced consumer FinTech company or in consumer banking with extensive knowledge of payments and digital products. The role requires the candidate to have proficiency in operational excellence, process optimization, analytics, and a solid understanding of operational compliance. You'll be focused on working across the organization to ensure that cross-functional processes are efficient and comprehensive, and help to further automate and optimize these. In parallel, you will be helping to drive and close special projects and initiatives to further support our growth and efficiency. You can think highly strategically, while at the same time being able to roll up one's sleeves when needed. As a manager of people, you are passionate about the development of others. This is a hybrid role (3x per week) based out of Brigit's New York office. It will be a dynamic, impactful, and unique experience! What You'll Be Doing Play an instrumental role in supporting how we grow and scale by ensuring cross-functional processes are efficient and comprehensive Clear ownership of payments operations, including working across Compliance, Operations, Product, and Engineering teams to develop and automate processes that and establish relevant metrics and KPIs Manage our relationships with key payments partners, including payment processors, & banking and compliance partners Own and manage multiple programs in a fast-paced environment across teams and with senior leaders of the organization Own vendor management to ensure we remain cost efficient and focused on continuous improvement Building and developing high-performing teams to drive operational excellence What You Have 10+ years of experience in strategic and operational roles in companies with high growth, including at least 5 years in fintech and an understanding of payment network rules and regulations Sharp analytical and process excellence skills, the ability to think strategically, and a proven track record in delivering cross-functional and transformational initiatives Strong working knowledge of operational compliance and understanding of operational risk and relevant frameworks Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels; ability to present complex information in an easy to understand format The ability to work with the team at all levels, in an open office setting, within a highly collaborative environment and start-up culture A passion to make a social impact and to help build a business that dramatically improves people's lives The ability to execute on today's challenges while maintaining a forward-thinking mindset around where we'll be six months, a year, and several years from now Proven successful implementation of strategic operational projects to completion while successfully managing stakeholders, including C-suite Who You Are Self manager with an ownership mindset and the resilience to win Start-up experience is a requirement; prior experience with hypergrowth a plus Strong communication skills including clarity, timeliness and follow-through Ability to drive initiatives with minimal structure and be influential within the organization to garner internal support for initiatives You embrace and are inspired to be a key driver of Brigit's mission! The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $180,000 - $210,000. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits for which an individual may be eligible. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
