Overview Susquehanna International Group (SIG) is seeking talented software engineers to join our Fixed Income Trading Systems Team, which is responsible for building high performance trading systems for the Fixed Income Desk. You'll work alongside traders, analysts, and other technology teams to create, maintain, and enhance our proprietary trading systems. In this role, you will: Design and create proprietary software to handle mission critical trading demands, including but not limited to market data, quoting, pricing, risk, and P&L Work closely with traders and analysts to understand and iterate on requirements. Work closely with various technology teams to deliver efficient and scalable solutions. What we're looking for Applicants should have exceptional programming skills in C# or Java and working knowledge of different database technologies. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related discipline or its foreign equivalent. Relevant technical experience may substitute for education. At least 5 years of progressive experience developing software applications. Recent hands-on experience with object-oriented programming is required, preferably C#. Current or previous experience within Fixed Income is preferred. Knowledge of Winforms and is a plus. Strong relational database knowledge is required, preferably with Oracle and/or SQL server. Experience with distributed systems, largely backend focused. Strong verbal communication skills with an ability to deal with technical and business staff while working on a trading desk is required. Eagerness to learn about the business as well as technology. Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure in a fast-paced team environment is required. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well both independently and in a team environment are necessary.
