The ideal candidate will identify opportunities for AI/ML and develop AI/ML models for intelligence analysis. This role involves researching, strategizing, developing, and deploying AI/ML models to enhance intelligence capabilities, streamline workflows, and support decision-making. Responsibilities The ideal candidate will identify opportunities for innovation and leverage advanced AI/ML techniques as a Senior Data Scientist for an Intelligence Community (IC) client providing thought leadership with current and future efforts. Key responsibilities include: Identify opportunities for AI/ML integration to enhance intelligence analysis and workflows. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and identify potential AI/ML solutions. Design and implement scalable AI/ML models for tasks such as information retrieval, natural language processing, predictive analytics, and automation. Source and process large datasets from diverse sources. Deploy AI/ML models into production environments and integrate with existing systems. Monitor model performance and retrain models as needed. Research and explore new AI/ML methodologies. Work closely with intelligence analysts and other cross-functional teams to source requirements and implement AI/ML solutions effectively. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in data science, with a focus on AI/ML. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java. Experience with AI/ML frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn). Strong understanding of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation. Proven track record of developing and deploying AI/ML models in a professional setting. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about complex issues. Strong ability to analyze and interpret large datasets. Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Experience in the intelligence or defense sector is highly desirable. TS/SCI with polygraph is required. #LI-SH1 Target salary range: $143,000 - $252,000 Final compensation will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to your skills, experience, education, and/or certifications.
