The Inside SalesRepresentative is responsible for providing premier customer service to allcurrent and potential customers from the point of initial contact throughdelivery of the product. Day-to-day Tasks and Responsibilities include (but are notlimited to): This is a hybrid position (on-site/home office) with 20-25% travel required. Business Development - Identify and pursue opportunities to expand RMP's presence and offerings with new, target and growth accounts. Develop and implement strategic account plans and growth strategies for each strategic client, including account profiling, opportunity identification, and action planning. Buildand maintain positive relationships with current and potential customers toensure annual growth. Selectively visit and maintain communication with companies within assigned territory andinquire about their needs. Meet daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals set by GeneralManager, i.e. dollars booked and calls per day. Promptly respond to Request for Quotes for current andpotential customers. Overall goal is no later than 24 hours per RFQ. Coordinate with Production Department or mill suppliers toensure orders are delivered timely and formally, advising customers of anydelivery status changes. Arrange for any outside processing required for an order. Monitor inventory levels for accounts as assigned. Coordinate with Quality Dept. in providing technicalassistance and solutions for customer returns. Formulate analysis of sales data to assist in establishingspecific account pricing. Perform follow up on all quotations in a timely manner. Contribute to a positive work environment based on teamworkand continuous improvement. Communicate effectively with Inside SalesRepresentatives, Outside Sales and management. Provide General Manager or Commercial Manager with reportsas assigned. Adhere to all RMP's handbook policies, procedures andbusiness codes of ethics.
