Exciting Opportunity We're partnering with a dynamic nonprofit organization based in Washington, DC, to find a passionate Senior Specialist, Major Gifts. This key role will ensure that major donors have a fulfilling philanthropic experience while supporting impactful conflict resolution initiatives in Palestine and Isreal. As a member of the Development team, you'll work alongside dedicated fundraising professionals to build long lasting relationships with donors, cultivate new prospects, and steward contributions of $10,000 and above. Travel Requirement: This position involves approximately 40% travel to the West Coast, including the Los Angeles metro area. If you're a motivated professional with a passion for peacebuilding and a proven track record in major gifts, we want to hear from you! salary: $100,000 - $125,000 per year shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM education: Bachelors Responsibilities Develop and execute personalized cultivation strategies, including donor meetings, events, and communication plans, to foster long-term relationships and maximize donor engagement Work closely with our CEO and Director of Development to strategically prioritize and make gift requests ranging from $10,000 to $100,000, tailoring proposals and solicitation materials to align with individual donors' interests and philanthropic goals Establish a robust donor stewardship program to ensure continuous donor engagement, recognition, and appreciation through correspondence, professional proposals, mailings and acknowledgements Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor records, donor correspondence, and gift documentation in compliance with organizational policies and procedures Conduct in-depth prospect research to identify new major gift opportunities and expand the organization's network of potential philanthropic supporters Collaborate with the CEO and fundraising team to create compelling fundraising materials, proposals, and impact reports tailored to the interests and priorities of major donors Identify, cultivate, and solicit major gifts from individual donors, family foundations, and other prospective high-net-worth supporters aligned with the organization's mission and values Manage a portfolio of 150+ prospects, maintaining regular communication and engagement with each donor to deepen their involvement and support for the organization's initiatives Skills Portfolio Management (7 years of experience is required) Closing major gifts (7 years of experience is required) Qualifications Years of experience: 7 years Experience level: Experienced Randstad is a world leader in matching great people with great companies.
