Project Finance Analyst Supervisor: SVP, Sales & Development Classification: Full-time, exempt About Cal Solar Inc.: California Solar Integrators, Inc. Summary Description: The Project Finance Analyst will play a pivotal role in managing our project financing offering and financing partner interaction. This role requires a blend of analytical, project management and organizational skills. The Project Finance Analyst will collaborate closely with the sales, estimating, and development teams to manage the pricing, tracking and fulfillment of project financing offers for customer solar and storage projects. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES Support the sales teams by managing the pricing, tracking and fulfillment of project financing offers for solar and storage projects Manage workflow and interactions with financing partners for financing offers Organize and manage the intake process for project related information in collaboration with the sales and estimating teams Catalog and maintain the company's database of financing partners, offers and historical information Develop and build indicative pricing financial models for commercial solar and battery storage projects Collaborate with and manage project finance consultants for advanced financial modeling projects Prepare and present financial analysis and information to the company's leadership team Track and manage transactions including financial and construction documents with financing partners TEAM BUILDING & CULTURE Embody and promote the Cal Solar core values and demonstrate those values in interactions with internal and external stakeholders. Foster open communication, team building, and sharing of best practices amongst all employees, to help create a continuous learning environment that drives team knowledge & preparedness. Key Qualifications & Required Skills/Abilities 2-3 years of experience in solar / battery storage project finance (preferred) or similar technical field Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with VBA / macro development experience Experience using solar project finance (PPA/lease) Excel models Familiarity with contracting vehicles and experience with legal negotiations (preferred) Knowledge and understanding of grid-tied solar PV Systems and other renewable energy technologies Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in documentation and data management Bachelors degree from an accredited institution Strong organizational skills, able to support multiple concurrent projects Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal and customer service skills/mindset Excellent time management skills - ability to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, and delegate when appropriate Confident and capable of holding others accountable About CalSolar, Inc: Passionate About Renewable Energy? The starting annual base pay for this role is between USD $70k - $90k. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as: location, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands.
