Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced, strong, and independent Lead / Senior Software Engineer to oversee day-to-day operations and development across multiple teams. This role will involve taking ownership of complex development tasks, leading projects from start to finish, and providing technical mentorship to the team. You will be responsible for solution architecture, complex coding, hosting management, live deployments, and code reviews. Additionally, you will serve as a backup for development and support, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality deliverables. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone with a broad technical background and a proven ability to manage and execute complex projects across a variety of technologies and platforms. No sponsorship available for this position Key Responsibilities: Lead and Oversee Development Projects: Manage and lead development projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, architecture, and technical requirements. Complex Development Tasks: Take ownership of complex coding tasks, including solution architecture, API development, and data processing. Work across a variety of technologies, including C#, Python, SQL, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Snowflake). Hosting and Deployment Management: Oversee hosting environments, manage live deployments, and ensure system stability and performance. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production environments. Code Review and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines. Provide feedback and guidance to developers to improve code quality and performance. Mentorship and Team Support: Mentor junior and mid-level developers, providing technical guidance and support to help them grow in their roles. Serve as a backup for development and support tasks, ensuring continuity in case of team member absence. Cloud and Infrastructure Management: Work with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Snowflake) to design, implement, and manage scalable and secure solutions. Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, cost, and reliability. Required Skills and Qualifications 3-5+ years of hands-on experience in software development, with a strong focus on web technologies (C#, .NET). Proven experience in leading and managing development projects from start to finish. Strong understanding of solution architecture and the ability to design scalable, maintainable systems. Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and Snowflake. Proficiency in complex coding, hosting management, and live deployments . Strong experience in code review and ensuring adherence to best practices. Ability to mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. Strong communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with data processing and working with large datasets. Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. Experience in API development and integration.
