We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Commercial Banking Syndications Loan Closer to join our team. This role involves managing the closing process of syndicated loans, and ensuring accurate manual calculations and data entry into the Integrated Banking System (IBS). Key Responsibilities: Oversee the loan closing process for syndicated and participated deals, ensuring compliance with the terms of the offer and credit agreements. Collaborate with the syndications team, borrowers, bank investors and internal partners to review proposals and prepare for closing. Create comprehensive closing spreadsheets and funding memos detailing all facilities, pricing structures, and participant information. Interpret complex credit agreements, including those with difficult pricing grids and swap derivatives, to structure deals accurately within IBS. Maintain a deep understanding of loan structuring and syndication product knowledge to manage a variety of pricing structures and grids manually. Qualifications: Proven experience in commercial banking loan syndications and closing processes. Strong ability to read and interpret credit agreements and related financial documents. Knowledge of swap derivatives and the ability to explain complex financial instruments to stakeholders. Proficiency in manual calculations and data entry with a high level of accuracy. Excellent communication skills to work effectively with syndications teams, borrowers, and internal committees. Adept at managing large dollar amounts and understanding the financial impact of various loan structures. Education: Required Experience: High School Diploma or GED. Minimum of 5 years commercial lending processing/closing experience. Preferred Experience: Knowledge of Syndication/Participation, Commercial Real Estate and C&I loan documentation. Minimum of 7 years commercial lending experience. Proven experience in commercial banking loan syndications and closing processes. Strong ability to read and interpret credit agreements and related financial documents. Knowledge of swap derivatives and the ability to explain complex financial instruments to stakeholders. Proficiency in manual calculations and data entry with a high level of accuracy. Excellent communication skills to work effectively with syndications teams, borrowers, and internal committees.
