DevOps / Data Engineer

Description: *100% Remote role* Our client is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer / Data Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and management of their Azure infrastructure and deployment pipelines. They want you to leverage your extensive expertise in automation, containerization, and CI/CD to ensure scalability, reliability, and security for a highly complex, employee-facing data and analytics web application. Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. Rate: $80 - $90 / hr. w2 Experience Requirements: 5+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles. Ability to get ground breaking team officially set up, up and running in Azure DevOps Proven track record in Agile software product development. 8+ years in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Ruby and deployments on Azure Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS. Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI. Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools like Terraform would be a plus Previous experience as a member of an Inaugural Dev Team or start-ups is a plus Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred
