City Experiences is seeking a Marketing Intern for our Sales and Marketing operation in Corporate Office. About You: This person will be adaptable, dynamic, and embody City Experiences' RESPECT Service System. The Marketing Coordinator will assist in marketing activities to support the sales team; promote INDY standard, special events, and holiday cruises; and report findings. This role manages a concierge referral program as well as ticket booth marketing collateral execution. The Marketing Coordinator will also assist to elevate the brand's online presence through website content, listing websites, and other special project assignments with the goal of driving brand awareness and incremental sales. The right person will be adaptable, dynamic, and embody City Experiences' RESPECT Service System. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Communicate monthly marketing and sales updates to marketing partners to keep them informed of recent happenings and upcoming initiatives Help determine and manage the cruise weighting system in Anchor Ensure that the cruise schedule is accurately published on all appropriate partner websites, listing sites, and event calendars Assist in creating post-cruise recap reports for local special events and holiday cruises and identify key insights for future optimization Update website page descriptions and schedules to share new information, ensure accuracy and make more relevant to current seasonality Assist in managing and executing the concierge program, including quarterly hotel visits acting as an ambassador to sign up concierges for incentives to book guests on cruises Help plan and execute events such as showcase cruises, media events, and captain's tables Collaborate with internal teams to develop and maintain marketing materials for local special event cruise campaigns Coordinate with vendors and partners to ensure smooth execution of marketing initiatives Contribute to the development of the marketing department's strategic plan Help maintain the marketing department's calendar and project management tools to ensure timely and successful delivery of marketing initiatives Edit PDFs and collateral for sales and event teams ensuring accuracy and consistency with brand guidelines Manage and maintain inventory of branded office supplies such as folders, note cards, brochures, swag, and other related items Manage the execution of ticket booth and onboard collateral, including A-frames, TV screens, brochures, and other marketing materials, ensuring accuracy and consistency with brand guidelines Requirements & Qualifications: Must be earning an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Hospitality, TourismManagement or any Business related field candidates earning their Bachelor's should preferably be in their sophomore, junior or senior year Solid computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PPT, Adobe Acrobat Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail A critical thinker and problem solver Ability to work under pressure and motivation to succeed in a competitive environment Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams Time, project management and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks Must be able to effectively understand and convey written and verbal information to coworkers and guests Must possess a service orientation - actively looking for ways to help others Will occasionally work for extended periods without sitting The nature of the work may involve walking for extended periods of time and the work environment may be warm Required to lift and move heavy items About Us: City Experiences' passion is to provide amazing experiences on land and water.
