Position Summary The Teleflex Anesthesia and Emergency Medicine (AEM) business unit continues to expand, and we are investing for sustained high growth. The marketing team is integral to developing and driving the Teleflex AEM growth strategy through innovative channel marketing and new product development. The Marketing Manager role supports the development and execution of strategy and tactics for the QuikClot Hemostatic Portfolio from Teleflex. The role will ensure a commitment to building people's capabilities, ensuring the right people are in the right roles and individuals feel empowered and supported to reach their potential. Leading a team of Product Managers, the Marketing Manager will demonstrate a clear purpose, clearly communicate performance expectations, and know how to inspire their team to meet challenges, achieve ambitious goals, and grow the business. This position works with global counterparts and sales leaders to execute objectives for applicable market segments. It is understood that the Marketing Manager provides excellence in team leadership, strategic marketing, driving change, and ensuring collaboration through Sales, Regional Marketing, Research and Development, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, and Global Clinical Affairs. Principal Responsibilities Strategic Marketing In partnership with the Director and Vice President of Marketing, develop overall marketing vision and brand strategy for the QuikClot Hemostatsis Portfolio Contribute to the development of strategic plans to ensure innovation, added value and support in line with annual operating plan Support and facilitate development and implementation of business unit plans Develop metrics to measure ROI and impact of marketing and investment for growth Growth Opportunities and Business Development Identify market trends and growth opportunities for global markets by adapting and optimizing marketing resourcing Collaborate with and influence sales leaders and along with the marketing team for benefit of the QuikClot Hemostasis portfolio consistent with a focus of "˜Global Alignment - Local Control' Promote a climate of respect and cooperation, rolemodeling ability to partner across organizational lines within and outside one's own team in order to best serve and exceed client needs. Collaborate with R&D, Regulatory, Affairs, and Clinical Affairs for new product development and indication expansions Manage market research to cultivate new customer and market insights Collaborate with Leadership Team on investment plans for new markets & opportunities Collaborate on forecasting, positioning, pricing and margins for new and existing products Leadership of Marketing Team Build a marketing team that is commercially astute, dedicated, innovative and adaptable through attracting & developing talent. Lead and inspire a team to meet challenges and achieve ambitious goals with a clear sense of direction and purpose in an ever-changing environment Foster an environment for others learning & creating development opportunities Build performance-based relationships by creating a culture of open and honest communication. Champion innovation, build the culture and drive change across the wider Teleflex group Personal and team development of strong personal brands and relationships with field sales through consistent communication, field ride visits (minimum of 3/quarter) to support our Sales Representatives and gain insights from Commercial Customers Education / Experience Requirements Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) required. Degree in Marketing field is highly preferred 5-10 overall years of marketing/sales and/or product management experience including experience supervising product managers required. Within the overall 5-10 years, minimum of 2-3 years of Medical Device experience in Commercial Marketing and/or Sales specific to Operating Room, Trauma, Emergency Medicine and/or Acute Care required Masters degree or equivalent qualification preferred 5-7 years global marketing experience preferred 1-2 years of direct people management preferred Specialized Skills / Other Requirements Aligns teams with the vision and promotes team effectiveness, morale and productivity P&L awareness; clear ability to adapt & apply solutions to impact profitability Establishes and communicates a compelling strategic vision for the brand; communicates openly and directly Ability to see both the strategic vision to set direction and appropriately manage detail to allow effective implementation by a wider team Results orientated, creates opportunities & overcomes obstacles Identifies complex problems and causes, quickly and effectively to generate solutions Delegates effectively and appropriately across wider team and matrix units to builds high performance people and teams Leads with initiative across different environments Can influence without authority Flexible and adaptable Able to work on own initiative and as a team player; builds and sustains relationships Team building skills with cultural awareness and sensitivity Judgment and problem solving ability Capable of understanding the impact of decisions on both Teleflex and their customers Organized and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
