Senior Application Security Engineer

Application security is a top priority at Capital One. We are seeking an experienced security engineer to join our Application Security team and work on cutting-edge security products for a variety of platforms and technologies. Responsibilities: Conduct dynamic application security testing of web assets and APIs Perform mobile application security testing Participate in projects, research work, and security guidance documentation Deliver security training and outreach to internal development teams Develop security tools and contribute to security metric improvements Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification Minimum of 3 years experience in cybersecurity or information technology At least 2 years of experience in application security Preferred Qualifications: 3+ years of experience with dynamic application security and software testing 2+ years of experience with penetration testing, Kali Linux, and mobile testing Risk analysis experience and one of the following cybersecurity certifications: OSCP, CISSP, CEH Experience with Amazon Web Services This role is not eligible for sponsorship for employment authorization. The annual salaries for this role vary by location. This role is also eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation.
