Job Summary Medline Industries has an immediate opening for an Indirect Procurement Manager with our Sterile Procedure Tray division. This role will be based out of our Northfield, IL corporate headquarters and will work a hybrid model. Job Description Manage all Indirect Purchases for respective site(s) to ensure continuity of supplies and services are uninterrupted while supporting Operations. Understand market conditions, business & technical requirements to translate into cost saving opportunities at respective site(s). Adhere and support the policies and procedures put in place across the Company and work in close collaboration with the Director of Indirect Procurement to ensure goals and objectives are met annually. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and execute sourcing strategies to help drive initiatives for improving supplier quality / service levels while improving supplier cost effectiveness, and reducing overall operation costs for the Kitting Division. Contribute to development of new strategies for designated categories. Align with internal stakeholders (engineering, operations, quality or other business partners) to understand requirements to ensure supplier qualification and quality. Support building business cases based on internal analytics, a deep understanding of Medline business requirements, industry trends and best practices. Participate and support Global sourcing projects. Support and lead negotiations and supplier selections; accountable for contract lifecycle management and compliance. Responsible for delivering productivity through price, value analysis (VA) or continuous improvement projects based on goals and objectives.) Actively monitor and mitigate supplier risk including financial, capacity, quality, and compliance. Develop and maintain all major contracts for respective site(s). Help drive compliance for all national contracts. Ensure creation of supplier profiles including metrics, performance goals, and improvement initiatives. Perform and participate in quarterly supplier reviews for all strategic suppliers that involve designated site(s). Participate and support Indirect Procurement ESG strategies. MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: Education: Bachelor's Degree required Work Experience: At least 7 years of experience in Sourcing, Supply Chain Management, Contract Management or other relevant business area. Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Leadership skills (either directly or indirectly) and proven ability to work in cross-functional team and international environment Ability to communicate with different levels and functions in the organization. Ability to negotiate with suppliers Analytical and strategic thinking, problem solving and scenarios generation skills Working understanding of supplier market in respective area of focus Ability to develop & manage multiple projects. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or other business related field preferred.
