CSI-DMC is committed to "An Exceptional Experience, Every Time" Position Description: The Director of National Sales / Midwest Market (DONS) for CSI DMC, is a key leadership position within the organization. The individual suited to the role has a high level of experience with meetings and events in the hospitality industry and is organized, driven, and articulate. The DONS is adaptable, introspective, and capable of facilitating a strong culture of professional conduct. The DONS has strong critical thinking skills and navigates the balance between achieving their own revenue goals with the overarching goals of the company. The DONS position requires that the individual has integrity, tact, professionalism, and personal accountability. Creating and maintaining client relationships within the Midwest Market to provide RFP opportunities to CSI offices. Attending conferences and shows as a representative of CSI. Traveling to client destinations to present CSI DMC services and capabilities. Partnering with local offices on closing business with clients within the Midwest Market. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: In addition to following CSI's values, policies and procedures, the primary responsibilities of this position currently include, but are not limited to, the following: Meets own sales goals Creates and maintains client relationships Engages in business development strategies and activities to build pipelines to the aligned offices Co-manages and/or spearheads specific hotel accounts where needed Reviews and problem solve accounts with Account Managers regularly to identify challenges and maximize opportunities and profit Reviews sales reports and ensures accuracy on sales data every week Meets with the National Sales Team weekly or as often as needed to identify and strategize on solutions to achieving sales outcomes, review any account, revenue, profit, or personnel challenges Works closely and collaboratively with the any assigned ADOEM or DOEM to remain cognizant of peak periods and cross-department calendar Attends cross-destination sales calls, and other calls as defined Assists the National Sales Team with identified reviews. Documents successes, challenges, and goals for review Bring existing Client relationships in the Midwest Market to CSI DMC Skills and Abilities Required: Minium of 5 years' experience within the hospitality industry CMP or DMCP designation is a plus, but not required Demonstrated capability to meet or exceed personal sales goals A high level of personal ethics and trustworthiness Strong organizational and relationship building skills The position requires the DONS to be available to travel as deemed necessary Benefits Include: Base salary range $80-$100k, plus robust commission plan Commission for Leads that contract and operate Company provided cell phone and computer Health, Dental and Vision Plan paid by employee with a $450.00 contribution from Employer Employer paid Life Insurance, AD&D, STI and LTI Paid Holidays Paid Personal Days Paid Volunteer time Please Note: This job description is intended as a general summary of the position; however, the individual will be expected to perform any functions or responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.
