Turf Care Production: Assembly Supplemental

John Deere Turf Care: Supplemental Assembly As a Supplemental Assembler with John Deere Turf Care in Fuquay-Varina, NC, you will: Perform assembly related operations in a production environment focused on safety, quality, and teamwork. Job details are dependent on duties assigned but in general consist of the following: Assemble parts or components to specification. Read and comprehend work instructions and follow established procedures. Utilize manufacturing tools to record data and keep records for quality and maintenance. Check results for conformance to specifications and make necessary corrections. Use various types of tools and equipment to perform work - including but not limited to hand and power tools, testing and runoff equipment, ladders, hoists, fixtures, jigs, and gages. Lubricate, check, and clean work equipment and tooling. Assist and support other team members. Clean work area and perform other miscellaneous duties inherent to the job. Candidates must be able to work any shift ; as shift needs are subject to change. Factory shifts are: First Shift: Monday - Thursday, 6:00am - 4:30pm (four 10-hour shifts) Third Shift: Monday - Thursday, 6:30pm - 5:00am (four 10-hour shifts) Minimum Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have at least one of the following: Ability to perform manual tasks related to described job duties for duration of work shift; including but not limited to frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and performing of repetitive actions. Ability and willingness to work any shift and potential overtime (including weekends).
