Category Manager - Tobacco

A large gas and oil company headquartered in Long Beach, CA is looking for a Category Manager - Nicotine to be responsible for driving growth and profitability of the nicotine product category. Their responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Develop and execute merchandising plans - Manage key vendor relationships - Product selection, pricing and itemization strategies, and product assortment planning - Market research and promotional activities - Drive gross margines performance by reducing product cost, buying into deals strategically, negotiating costs and product placement fees - Create vendor scorecard with goals and objectives to drive growth - Monitor KPI's to manage sales, unit, margin, and inventory levels performance - Ensure product information is set up on merchandising system and distributed to field operations - Negotiate annual/multiyear partnership contracts with vendors/suppliers Following regulatory compliance within each store We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
