Job Summary: The Compensation, Benefits, and HR Tax Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the Midea North America Region's compensation and benefits programs. Additionally, the role involves overseeing HR tax-related matters for local and expat to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, such as payroll tax and global mobility tax etc. The manager will play a crucial role in maintaining competitive and attractive compensation packages, administering employee benefits programs, and ensuring adherence to tax laws. Job Responsibilities: Center of Expertise (COE) to lead Midea North America Region (US, Canada and Mexico)'s compensation structure design, timely review and implementation. Conduct market research to ensure competitive and innovative compensation and benefits practices to retain and attract best talents. Regularly review and update salary structures, bonuses, incentive programs and benefits. Collaborate with HR leader and senior management to develop and implement C&B strategies that align with organizational goals. Manage US and Canada's HR related taxes, working with payroll team (SSC) and tax team in a timely and accurate manner. Stay informed about changes in tax laws and regulations affecting the organizations and work closely with finance and legal teams to ensure compliance with tax obligations. Manage and prepare tax documents for global mobility tax compliance, adjustment and pay structure strategy. Collaborate and work with external tax consultants as needed for any tax projects assigned. Generate and analyze reports related to compensation, benefits, and tax data. Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on data analysis. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of compensation and benefits data. Communicate changes in compensation, benefits, and tax policies to country HRs. Conduct training sessions to educate HR teams and employees on compensation, benefits and tax-related matters. Address employee queries and concerns under this category. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Proven experience in compensation and benefits management. Familiarity with US/Canada payroll tax and expatriation tax such as tax adjustment and global tax equalization. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Global working experience or worked with a global team.
