Job Description: The Team The Trade Processing Product area is part of the Core Brokerage Platform Domain. This product area is playing critical role in building Next Generation (NextGen) brokerage platform, a new platform for brokerage capabilities. The Product area is responsible for straight through, real time processing of trades including distribution of trades to downstream post-trade processing applications. The Product area is also working on various other modernization effort on Block Trade Allocation, Balancing Engine etc. The Product area supports all lines of business across Retail and Institutional businesses. The Purpose of Your Role Our teams build and support industry leading brokerage solutions for Trade Processing business today. You'll be part of the Modernization program, adopting a Fintech mindset to help build the next generation brokerage platform as a service based on real-time processing and service-oriented architecture principles, focusing specifically on Trades processing & Settlement capabilities. You'll be part of the A team responsible for designing and architecting a complex microservices network which can process high volume transactions and to be able to communicate with other domain systems using lightweight mechanisms in a scalable manner. You have the expertise and experience indesigning complex network of microservices & streaming systemswhich can handlehigh TPS traffic with low latency. This experience is critical since the opening is for someone who can design, architect and built transaction processing microservices which can process millions of records in the most efficient manner. Areexperienced with the tools of the tradeincluding a variety of modern programming languages and frameworks. 10+ years of experience working with java is expected for this role. Experience working with kafka Kstream applications is a must have. Experience working with aws managed solutions such as lambda, DynamoDB, api gateway, ec2, CloudWatch, route53, IAM roles/policies etc is expected. You have apassion for technologyand can navigate your way across complex and rapidly changing landscapes by staying on top of latest trends and thrive by sharing knowledge. You'll be helping us build things, taking an idea, and creating rapid prototypes that are shippable and learn from real-life feedback. Care about cycle time and useCI/CD practices, tools to rapidly deploy changes to customers while minimizing risk using practices like A/B tests, blue-green deployments, and feature toggles Havestrong communication skills and technical expertiseto drive and participate in meaningful discussions. The Skills You Bring Hands on experience in Java , UNIX, and Rest based microservices particularly spring boot apps. Hands on experience working with Kafka, AWS EKS, and AWS managed solutions such as lambda, dynomodb, api gateway, SQS, ec2, s3, CloudWatch, IAM roles/polices etc Hands on experience in container-based development (Docker) Hands on experience in Hibernate ORM/JDBC/Connection Pooling etc Hands on experience working with EDA solutions such as MQ/ AWS SNS etc Familiarity working with OAuth 2.0 framework and scopes Experience in implementing Micro services Architecture & building / deploying highly automated, scalable and maintainable infrastructure.
