Director of National Accounts Location : Morgantown, PA How You Will Make an Impact? The Director of National Accounts is responsible for the management of major fleet accounts in the US and Canada. This individual serves as the primary contact at the executive level of major customer accounts. The position requires cross-functional teaming with engineering, quality, manufacturing, and finance, and JBPCO Business Units. The Nuts and Bolts This position is responsible for: Leading the implementation of sales strategies aimed at the acquisition of new customers and increase penetration with existing customers. The Director of National Accounts is expected to operate at both strategic and tactical level and develop close relationships with fleet primary decision makers at their headquarters as well as at the regional level. Position Description Developing specifications, and negotiating pricing and RFQs for large regional and national accounts in North America. This position works closely with Regional Sales Directors and their teams, it ensures alignment with regional sales teams and with the Executive Director of Strategic Accounts and contributes to Morgan's overall revenue and market share growth in NA. This position also interfaces with upper sales and company management and works with engineering, purchasing, marketing, operations and finance staff who support a sales growth. The Director of National Accounts is responsible for leading a team of National Sales Account Managers. The Director of National Accounts executes Morgan's product launches. Sharing customer needs and is a source of industry trends and competitive intelligence. Developing accurate monthly, quarterly and annual bookings forecast by plant and truck body type. Implementing and tracks KPIs and metrics for effective national account management. Developing and executing account plans and conducting physical and paper pilot reviews as required The Director of National Accounts will have dotted line supervisory and leadership responsibility of the Technical Sales National Account Manager and she will provide direction as required The Director of National Accounts will ensure adequate quote response time including medium and high complexity costing and pricing Coordinating with Quality Champions and Customer Advocates as needed, production schedules, customer supplied materials and chassis information between the customer and the Morgan Required Credentials 1. College degree, Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred. 2. Minimum of 10 years of experience managing national accounts in the transportation industry. 3. Excellent organizational and leadership skills. 4. Effective communication and presentation skills. 5. Analytical and data driven. 6. Strong negotiation skills with all levels of management. 7. Proven ability to work within cross-functional teams. You Must Be Able to Working in an office environment in a seated position a minimum of eight hours per day is required. Individuals may need to sit or stand as needed. May require walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day. Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required to file documents or store materials throughout the workday.
