Please Note: This role requires the ability to work on site 3 days per week per company policy The annual salary range for this role is $120,000-140,000 in New York or San Francisco. Why we are Recruiting The Centre for Financial and Monetary System (FMS) is comprised of leading global and regional institutions from the financial services and investing industries, among other critical stakeholders. It engages this broad set of actors to design and develop a more sustainable, resilient, trusted, and accessible financial system that reinforces long-term value creation and economic growth. The Lead, Financial Markets and Resilience Initiatives will be responsible for leading Centre-specific content focused on developing and deepening cooperation and positive impact on topics of systemic importance. Areas of potential focus include financial system stability, evolution of capital markets including the transformation of financing, growth of private capital, democratization to retail investors, stewardship and governance. Reporting Lines & Interactions The Lead, Financial Markets and Resilience Initiatives will report to the Head, Financial Markets and Resilience Initiatives. Internally, the person will work with colleagues in our Account Management and Business Development Teams, the internal FMS Centre team, Global Industry Team, and a broad range of other stakeholders. Externally, this person will interact and collaborate with constituents ranging from Forum Partner and non-Partner companies, governments, academia, and civil society. Main Responsibilities: A successful candidate will play a key role in scoping, launching and managing the initiatives and facilitating engagement among Forum constituents - both business and non business. Initiative Management Scope, design and develop, as well as execute and deliver on existing initiatives that align with and promote the Forum's and Centre's mission Initiative organization, including ensuring deliverables are on track across multiple workstreams, coordinating with internal colleagues and external consultants (if applicable) Ensure a rigorous initiative management governance and approach that reinforces high impact delivery and partner engagement. Report and monitor initiative progress, impact and evaluation Lead on deliverables from white papers and blog posts to communication strategies including various media channels from podcasts to social media Business Development and Stakeholder management Identify, target and develop outreach and engagement plans for the community of potential and existing Forum partners, with particular focus on commercializing the Centre's content and grant funded opportunities Engage a diverse set of executive stakeholders from private and public sectors on strategic deliverables and convenings, frameworks and policies Ensure opportunities to leverage Forum networks, events, and public engagement opportunities for initiative outcomes are fully utilized Preferred Requirements and Experience Bachelor's degree in a Business, Economics, or related field; Master's degree is a plus. 5+ years of professional work experience working with public and private sectors in areas such as banking, capital markets, investment management, investor relations, asset management, portfolio operations, strategy consulting, economic analysis Professional experience and existing relationships with public and private stakeholders in developed and emerging economies Outstanding track record in account management and/or business development at C-suite level Excellent strategic acumen combined with the ability to operationalize effectively Ability to build strong internal relationships and networks within a complex, collaborative and ambiguous environment; can work well globally across cultures Energetic, self-directed, customer-oriented team player with a mission-oriented mindset Fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills; additional foreign languages a plus Willingness to travel 25% of the time Why work at the Forum: The Forum believes that progress happens by bringing together people from all walks of life who have the drive and the influence to improve the state of the world by building awareness and cooperation, shaping mindsets and agendas, and driving collective action.
