Marketing Coordinator

Marketing Coordinator Washington, DC / New York, NY José Andrés Group is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to join our expanding marketing team. Based in New York City or Washington DC, this exciting role is responsible for hands-on production work across marketing channels. This position requires some experience with digital design concepts, email marketing, and social media for business. Key Responsibilities: Support Graphic Designer and Brand Marketing Managers by editing and publishing digital assets including but not limited to email marketing, website content including blog and menu updates, social media content, paid media (banner ads, rich media, Facebook/Instagram ads) and digital signage. Work directly with Graphic Designer to ensure all digital creative follows existing brand guidelines and style guides. Work with Brand Marketing Managers to traffic social media content via Sprout Social. Proof content and perform quality control across all channels. Ensure digital assets such as fonts, imagery, video and other forms of content are developed and formatted appropriately, and optimized for web. Support organization of marketing assets across the organization. Maintain review sites and reservation platforms, ensuring latest photography, menus, and hours are posted on a regular basis (Yelp, OpenTable, SevenRooms, Google, etc.) Work directly with Brand Marketing Managers and Graphic Designer to forecast daily and short-term workload, ensuring that deadlines are met and managed efficiently Support brand marketing managers on reporting across digital and social channels Knowledge, Skills and Experience: Two years' professional experience. Experience updating websites (WordPress, CMS, etc.) Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite - specifically InDesign/Illustrator/Photoshop Proficiency with Google Analytics and various digital dashboards. Experience in Email Marketing Platforms (Emma, Campaign Monitor, etc.) Experience supporting business social media channels, understanding of best practices Working knowledge of digital design and UX/UI best practices Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects at once Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Docs Bonus Points: Experience with Bentobox CMS website platform Experience with basic CRM platform(s) Photo editing experience (Photoshop/Lightroom/etc) Basic marketing copywriting skills Basic experience writing HTML/CSS/JS Jose Andres Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
