Machine Builder

Job Responsibilities: Ensure that problems in manufacture, assembly, installation, and operation are escalated through the proper channels. Requires machining, and tool making knowledge. Verify machine functionality, machine capabilities, and conformance to customer's specifications. Prepares projects and kits for shipment. Familiar with the construction and start-up practices. Familiar with Electrical Panels, Power Distribution, and Industrial Electrical Controls. Travel to customer site to perform installation and demonstrate equipment functions as per specifications to obtain customer acceptance. Support in scheduling and coordinating the participation of Vendors at site in regard to installation of equipment and their participation in the execution of start-up activities. Support the project team in ensuring all the mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and automation installation punch list items are cleared and signed-off as per project requirements. Ensure than all installation and handover activities on the project are executed in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner. Keep track of project timing and materials. Train customers on system operation and maintenance. Some local travel, machine/system installation or repair.
