Job Summary: The Assembler is responsible for assembling fabricated parts, components, or units at floor stations according to product specifications. This role involves testing and calibrating parts and mechanisms to meet required tolerances and product specifications, utilizing both hand tools and power tools. The Assembler may also be required to identify units that fail to meet standards and perform necessary repairs. Key Responsibilities: Assemble fabricated parts, components, or units at designated floor stations following product specifications and work instructions. Use hand tools and power tools to assemble units accurately and efficiently. Test and calibrate assembled parts and mechanisms to ensure they meet required tolerances and product specifications. Identify and troubleshoot units that fail tests or do not meet tolerance levels, performing necessary repairs as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that all tools and equipment are in good working condition. Follow all safety protocols and company procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and address any issues that arise during the assembly process. Maintain accurate records of assembly work, including any deviations from specifications or repairs performed. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing preferred. Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines. Basic math skills and ability to use measuring instruments. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Ability to lift and move up to [insert weight] pounds. Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Work Environment: The role involves working in a manufacturing or production environment where safety protocols must be strictly followed.
