The Role IEQ Capital is looking for a motivated professional to join the Business Development Team in our Boston office. The Business Development Associate plays a critical role in supporting IEQ Advisors in sourcing new business, identifying and tracking liquidity events, qualifying potential prospect leads, managing opportunity pipelines, and more. This role is essential in helping our advisors stay organized and proactive in their growth efforts and assists in every phase of the prospecting process. The Business Development Associate will have the opportunity to work closely with and learn from IEQ Advisors and Senior Firm Leadership. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Partner with specific IEQ Advisors on an ongoing basis to manage growth pipelines, spur proactive activity, and ensure consistent and prompt follow-up on all open new business opportunities. Regularly monitor deal activity/liquidity events across the United States to surface potential prospects. Identify trending companies and potentially qualified individuals associated with those companies for IEQ advisors to pursue. Utilize firm technology to structure and execute broad outreach campaigns to generate connectivity with potential prospects. Build analytics to identify future high-value opportunities through research. Develop an understanding of IEQs investment philosophy and broader spectrum of service offerings. Qualifications 1-2+ years of relevant work experience preferred. Candidate must thrive in and be able to keep up with a dynamic, fast paced environment. High-level of integrity and humility. Must be able to think critically, effectively, anticipate needs and be a natural problem-solver. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience owning projects & initiatives while delegating responsibilities as needed. Must have high attention to detail in all aspects of the role, work quickly and accurately. Must be self-directed and able to work with individuals at all levels, including executive management. Background in financial services/wealth management industry preferred Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce preferred Career Path You should expect to hold the position for 18-24 months. During that time, you will be evaluated on the impact of your contributions, taking on more responsibilities as you acquire the necessary skills to move on to a more senior role. Compensation The salary range for this role is $70,000-$105,000, depending on skills and experience.
