The Department of Pathology at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine is seeking a dynamic leader at the Associate Professor or Professor level to serve as the Director of Clinical Gastrointestinal Pathology. In addition to their own sign out of gastrointestinal pathology specimens, this leader will oversee the clinical work in the division and play a major role in the clinical education of our fellows. The ideal candidate should have expertise in GI and liver pathology, excellent interpersonal and teaching skills, and a collaborative approach to teamwork. They should also have a strong record of productivity and scholarship in GI/Liver pathology and experience in training medical students, residents, and fellows. Qualified candidates must have an MD, MD/PhD, or DO degree and be board-certified in AP or AP/CP from the American Board of Pathology. They should also be eligible for an unrestricted medical license in Maryland and Washington, DC. Fellowship training or significant experience in gastrointestinal pathology is required.
