Our corporate Human Resources ('HR') team seeks an experienced Benefits Manager who aspires to: Collaborate in a dynamic team environment, acting as an "internal consultant" to implement scalable solutions company-wide. ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES Benefits Administration: Oversee and manage all aspects of team member benefits programs, including but not limited to health insurance, retirement plans, wellness programs, life, and disability. Compliance: Ensure that all benefits programs comply with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies. Data Analysis: Analyze benefits data to assess program effectiveness and identify trends; prepare reports and presentations for leadership. Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for business unit HR and team members regarding benefits; communicate changes and updates clearly and effectively. Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors and partners to negotiate contracts, evaluate and maximize service performance, and ensure timely delivery of benefits services. Program Development: Research and recommend new benefits programs that align with company objectives and team member needs. Training and Support: Develop and conduct team member training sessions to enhance their understanding of available benefits. Employee Engagement: Foster a culture of wellness and engagement through effective benefits communication and promotion of available programs. Special Projects: Participate in special projects, including acquisition due diligence, to assess and integrate benefits programs during mergers and acquisitions, and implementation of other programs which support the company's positive employee relation's strategy to maintain a union-free environment. Company Policies and Procedures: Abide by all policies and procedures established by the Company, meet attendance requirements, and perform other duties as assigned. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent experience. A minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible benefits administration or related HR roles. Demonstrated Expertise: Comprehensive experience and understanding of benefits administration, including knowledge of self-insured health, dental, life, disability, vision, FSA, and 401(k) plans. Extensive knowledge of ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, FMLA, ADA and COBRA. Experience training and presenting complex benefit programs to team members, managers, and leaders. Proficiency in HRIS and benefits management software. Skills/Abilities: Integrity, professionalism, confidentiality, and the ability to act as a trusted advisor at the highest levels. A strong change management mindset with the capacity to influence without authority. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis and reporting. Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading and writing English. Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Independent multitasking capabilities. Organizational skills with acute attention to detail. Proficiency to work outside normal hours and travel regionally and nationally as required, with reliable transportation and a valid drivers' license.
