About the job Finance Director - Healthcare Position: Finance Director - Healthcare Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Director to join our client's team in the Nashville TN area. The Finance Director will play a crucial role in the company's financial management and will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations and providing strategic guidance to the executive team. Must Haves: Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance CPA Minimum of 5 years for-profit hospital finance experience Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement financial strategies and plans to support the company's overall goals and objectives Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations to management Prepare and present financial reports, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Oversee the preparation of financial statements and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations Manage cash flow and working capital to optimize financial resources Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, banks, and auditors Lead and manage the finance team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective operations Stay updated on industry trends and changes in financial regulations to ensure compliance and identify potential risks and opportunities Collaborate with other departments to support business initiatives and provide financial expertise and insights Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes to drive business growth and profitability Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA preferred CPA Required Minimum of 8 years of experience in a financial management role, preferably in a Healthcare/Regional Hospital setting Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Proven track record of managing and developing high-performing teams Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple priorities Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite If you are a strategic thinker with a strong financial background and a passion for driving business success, we would love to hear from you.
