Salary Range: $105,000 to $110,000 The Assistant National Sales Manager supports the National Sales Department Manager and the Area Sales Managers (ASM) in achieving Suzuki's sales and distribution objectives. Assist in the planning, implementation, and management of ASM's and dealer development strategies, programs, and maintain a strong Suzuki brand image to dealers and retail customers. The Assistant Manager will collaborate closely with the National Sales Department Manager to drive business growth through dealer network expansion, effective sales strategies, and sales staff development and evaluation. Principal Tasks: 1. Assist in dealer network expansion and optimization to identify potential dealers for expansion in target markets. 2. Assist in generating data and analysis to identify appropriate points in which to solicit new dealers. 3. Assist NSM in staff development, training, and evaluation. 4. Assist in building and maintaining strong relationships with existing dealers to ensure optimal performance and satisfaction. 5. Assist in dealer concerns and provide solutions to enhance their performance. 6. Support the ASM's in development and execution of sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets. 7. Work with ASMs to create and deliver effective sales presentation and training programs for dealers. 8. Assist in analyzing, understanding, interpret and communicate the latest market trends, state and federal laws, and regulations applicable to the power sports and motorcycle industry and dealer distribution channels. 9. Prepare regular reports on sales activities, including sales performance, market penetration, and dealer evaluations. 10. Monitor key performance indicators and suggest improvements based on data analysis. 11. Provide ad hoc research and analysis on various subjects as requested by executive team. 12. Assist NSM in the planning and execution of promotional events, exhibitions, and ASMs and dealer meetings. 13. Collaborate on special projects and initiatives related to sales and dealer development. 14. Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations. 15. Assist with processing of new dealer set-up and dealer change packages. Minimum Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. 2. Five to 10 years' experience in power sports or motorcycle industry preferred 3. Two to five years' experience in sales, dealer development, or related field roles. 4. Two to five years' experience in a supervisory or assistant manager capacity. Required Skills: 1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 2. Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations. 3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales-related applications. 4. Willingness to travel as necessary to support ASMs and dealer development activities. 5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong project management skills. 6. At a minimum, basic motorcycle and ATV riding skills. Physical Requirements: 1. General mobility to work with standard office equipment. 2. Visual ability to read written and electronic correspondence. 3. Hearing ability to conduct personal meetings and telephone communication. 4. Frequent travel to outside sites and meetings.
