Our customer-focused teams are built on our core values: Community, Integrity, Agile, and Committed.Requirements: SUMMARY: The AV Installation Technician will be responsible for the installation, and decommission of professional audio, video, control systems, as related to the Systems Integration Industry. The AV Installation Technician is responsible for completing projects in the most efficient and effective manner. All work must meet the highest quality standards set forth by the Company, while assuring a professional and safe working environment. PRIMARY DUTIES: The AV Installation Technician shall be responsible for, but not limited to the following: Responsible for reading and understanding Systems Integration installation process. Must understand wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints. Custom audiovisual installations. Wire pulling and termination. Equipment installation and removal when necessary. Install display (projector/flat panel), screen and check for simple functionality. Labeling all wire and equipment. Use of hand and power tools. Site cleanup. Safe use of ladders, scaffolding and lifts. Lift heavy and bulky equipment. Achieve working knowledge of Company software and work within software system on a day-to-day basis. Work in a safe, positive manner showing respect to others and contributing to the team. Full compliance with Company and customer safety programs. Full compliance with Company policies and procedures. Work to achieve 100% customer satisfaction 100% of the time. Other duties as deemed necessary by management. COMPENTENCY: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be responsible, self-motivated, self-starter, personable and well organized. Superior customer service skills to deal with both internal and external customers. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong interpersonal skills: ability to work with diverse groups. Proficiency in the use of computers, tablets and software including programs such as Bluebeam,MS Office, SharePoint, ConnectWise, etc. Ability to demonstrate planning, organizing and implementing skills which allow the successful completion of a project by a specific due date. Must be able to effectively handle stressful situations. Must be able to read and effectively interpret general business documentation. Required to stand, walk, climb, sit and use hands and fingers. Reaching, grasping and carrying activities are also required. Although most work is performed inside, occasional outside activities are subject to seasonal temperature fluctuations. Valid and current driver's license. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or equivalent Audio Visual knowledge helpful, experience preferred, other low voltage, construction, or electrical installation experience acceptable. Preferred but not required CTS certification. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: In order to perform the essential functions of this job the Associate must have the ability to stand on a concrete floor for long periods and lift and/or move equipment at least 50 pounds on a repetitive basis. The candidate must be able to lift equipment and construction supplies from floor height to overhead while loading/unloading trucks or preparing equipment for installations, service calls, and events. Candidate must have the ability to climb and work (stack, adjust, and repair) at heights more than 25' before/during installations and job sites. EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK: Business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. However, required work hours may vary depending on business needs. Overtime is possible. TRAVEL: Travel is required to local and out of state client locations. Possible overnight stays may be required. PM21 Compensation details: 24-28 Hourly Wage PI3a5f8663fe6a-
