Description Job Summary: Help members and clients achieve their financial goals through personalized consultations, investment strategies, and exceptional service. Develop tailored solutions by understanding their needs, risk tolerance, and aspirations. Conduct regular portfolio reviews and identify opportunities to optimize their financial future. This adviser will cover Virginia Beach, Chesapeake and Norfolk territories. Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients by understanding their financial needs, goals, and risk tolerance. Develop and implement personalized investment plans, including securities recommendations, tailored to each client's unique circumstances. Manage client investment portfolios on an ongoing basis, reviewing performance regularly, and adjusting as necessary. Educate clients on financial planning concepts, investment products, and market trends. Provide clear and regular communication about their investment portfolio and financial situation. Actively refers business back to Langley when appropriate. Ensure adherence to all credit union, FINRA, and regulatory guidelines. Maintain a strong knowledge base by staying current on industry regulations, trends, and best practices. Coaches internal teams, drives investment initiatives, and fosters strong partnerships to achieve client investment goals. Identify and proactively reach out to potential clients to grow the client base. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Development, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience). FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or Series 63 and 65) licenses required. Applicable state life and health insurance licenses preferred. Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills. Excellent presentation and client service skills. Ability to travel up to 35% locally. CFP designation a plus. Clean credit history and U-4 CRD record required.
