Job Objective: A brief overview of the position. Leads the development, design, and submission of continuing professional development/medical education proposals to health systems, hospitals and provider groups. Reports to Vice President, Business Development Supervises N/A Ages of Patients N/A Blood Borne Pathogens Minimal/No Potential Qualifications Education Required: Bachelor's degree or higher level degree in related field Licensure/Certification Required: N/A Experience Required: Five (5) years of business development experience Essential Responsibilities Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies, and takes action to resolve compliance questions or concerns and report suspected violations. Generates leads, builds relationships, and closes sales to provide fully outsourced grand rounds, and other RSS's primarily targeting mid-size hospitals with no academic status/affiliation. Identifies and conceptualizes accredited education funding opportunities within health systems, hospitals, and providers. Assembles, edits, and submits educational proposals to health systems, hospitals, and providers in the appropriate format. Cultivates and maintains external relationships with potential supporters, KOLs, professional associations, advocacy organizations and other partners. Works with medical writers to develop needs assessments, agendas, and learning objectives for proposal submissions when appropriate. Contributes to the instructional design of activities designed to improve learner engagement and patient care. Coordinates with the Program Implementation and Continuing Education Teams to ensure appropriate execution, delivery, and outcomes goals are achieved. Provides interim outcome data to supporters as requested. Reviews outcome reports to ensure key and appropriate metrics are presented to supporters. Achieves annual sales target. Performs other duties as assigned.
