What will be your daily pursuit? We are in search of an exceptional and experienced marketing and sales leader to drive our revenue growth, enhance our brand, and support the delivery of unforgettable experiences at Flyover. The Senior Director of Sales & Marketing will play a vital role on the Flyover leadership team, focusing on maximizing revenue generation across all attractions. This position will oversee global marketing and sales strategies, fostering customer acquisition, retention, and overall business expansion. Reporting directly to Flyover's Chief Operating Officer, the ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with a robust background in marketing, sales and revenue management within the entertainment, tourism, or attractions sectors. This individual should excel at solving complex challenges in a fast-paced, collaborative, and results-driven organizational culture. What is the compensation for this role? The salary range for this role is $165,000/yr - $185,000.00/year with a yearly short-term incentive of 25% the base salary. Revenue Strategy & Management Develop and Execute Strategy: Craft and implement a comprehensive revenue strategy aligned with Flyover's growth and profitability goals across all attractions. Pricing & Financial Metrics: Oversee pricing strategies, revenue forecasting, and financial performance metrics to optimize profitability. Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape to identify revenue enhancement opportunities. Marketing Strategy & Execution Global Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement a global marketing strategy that elevates brand awareness, drives customer engagement, and enhances the guest experience. Digital & Content Marketing: Oversee digital marketing, social media, content creation, and public relations efforts to ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment. Campaign Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and execute targeted marketing campaigns that resonate with diverse audiences across different regions. Sales Leadership Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a high-performing global sales team, setting clear goals, KPIs, and performance expectations. Sales Initiatives: Drive B2B and B2C sales initiatives, including group bookings, partnerships, and direct-to-consumer channels. Relationship Management: Foster relationships with key partners, distributors, and stakeholders to expand market reach and drive sales growth. Brand Champion Brand Management: Develop and maintain brand standards, guidelines, and messaging to strengthen Flyover's market position. Brand Alignment: Maintain brand consistency across all marketing and sales channels while ensuring alignment with the development, evolution, and delivery of the customer experience. Customer Experience & Engagement Customer-Centric Approach: Champion a customer-centric approach, ensuring that all sales and marketing efforts prioritize the guest experience. Data-Driven Personalization: Utilize data-driven insights to personalize marketing efforts and improve customer engagement and loyalty. Innovation: Innovate and implement new strategies to enhance the overall customer journey from awareness to post-visit follow-up. Market Expansion & Growth New Market Opportunities : Identify and evaluate new market opportunities for expansion and growth, both geographically and through new product offerings. Market Entry Strategies: Lead market entry strategies, including partnerships, acquisitions, and new location development. Budgeting & Financial Oversight Budget Management: Develop and manage the sales and marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI. Financial Tracking: Track and report on financial performance, making data-driven adjustments to strategies as needed. Collaboration: Collaborate with finance and operations teams to align revenue goals with broader business objectives. Education and Experience Educational Background: Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field; MBA preferred. Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in sales, marketing, and revenue management, with a strong background in the entertainment, tourism, or attractions industry. Track Record: Proven track record of driving revenue growth and profitability in a multi-regional or global context. Skills & Abilities Leadership: Experience managing and mentoring diverse teams. Strategy: Capable of strategic thinking while executing tactical actions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Team: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Technical Skills: Expertise in digital marketing, CRM systems, and data analytics. Travel: Open to international travel as needed. What will your work environment be like? You hang suspended, feet dangling, before a 20-metre spherical screen while our film whisks you away on an exhilarating journey across some of the world's most iconic landscapes. Special effects, including wind, mist and scents, combine with the ride's motion to create an unforgettable experience. Currently, there are FlyOver's located in Vancouver, B.C., Reykjavik, Iceland, Las Vegas Nevada and coming soon - in Toronto and Chicago. Several future FlyOver locations are proposed and are in the development stage.
